Recap: Honolulu Marathon 2018

Athletes getting expert care from Chapter Members!

By Olivia Nagashima

December 9, 2018 was the 45th Honolulu Marathon with more than 25,000 participants finishing this race. With an early morning start at 5:00am the first three runners to cross the finish line are just fascinating to watch as we set-up for our own massage marathon.
This was the 22nd year that therapists worked together for post marathon massage for the Mid-Pacific Roadrunners ClubBrian Clarke’s Marathon Clinic and Honolulu Club members.
Every runner was happy to just lie on the massage table and have some relaxing work and gentle stretches to help them recover. Most runners were so elated to have a post run massage and appreciated our service. Some even asked us to come back next year! Please join us so that we can have even a better experience in 2019!
